GemLeaf letters are the newest products to use the age-old gilding process – the difference is that Gemini utilizes the latest technology to apply a micron’s thick coating of metal to our own modified Premium extruded acrylic stock. To ensure toughness, all Gemleaf products are coated to provide extra durability and protection against nicks and scratches. Although Gemleaf products hold up well under most harsh UV conditions; because of the risk of corrosion we guarantee these letters for interior use only.

What are the limitations of GemLeaf Letters?
Gemleaf letters are recommended and guaranteed for interior applications only. Although Gemleaf products hold up well under most harsh UV conditions; because of the risk of corrosion in harsh environments, we guarantee these letters for interior use only. As with any acrylic-based product, GemLeaf letters should not be used where they will be subjected to severe impact or heavy strain, as they are not as durable as solid metal products. At present, Gemini’s metallizing process does not currently allow for letters to be greater than 24” wide (per grain of pattern).

Gemleaf material is a combination of Gemini’s premium modified impact resistant acrylic and pure metal leaf. This combination of actual metal with the precision of a laser-cut acrylic letter results in a breathtaking new signage product.
